Although there is some processing involved in the administration of a group insurance workers’ compensation program, the bulk of the responsibility is maintaining compliance with each of the state’s workers’ compensation regulators.
CRM’s underwriting department implements these regulatory filing requirements for all insurance applications, processes the applications and files them with the state regulator. An underwriting compliance manager handles all allegations of non-compliance and negotiates with the regulators regarding adverse decisions.
This structure allows each underwriter to be intimate with each account and assures timely and proper filing with the state regulators.
